IVC Evidensia Sponsors Travel Scholarships For Students To Attend FECAVA Congress

Tuesday, June 14, 2022

The scholarship aimed to provide students with an early introduction to the format of a veterinary congress and was open to veterinary students in FECAVA countries who were in their final two years at university.

As part of the scholarship, the successful applicants were given access to the congress as student delegates, provided with travel and accommodation expenses, and were invited to several events including a meeting with council members. They were even presented with a souvenir of Prague; a figure of Krtek, the little mole who is a hugely popular Czech animated icon.

The congress, which is held annually at Prague Congress Centre, had a packed schedule of speakers from across the globe. The lectures and workshops were across a broad range of subjects including endocrinology, neurology, oncology and surgery, providing the students with an opportunity to learn from experts in their individual fields.
