IVC Evidensia announces Sarah Macdonald as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary

IVC Evidensia, the leading veterinary care provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Macdonald as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. Sarah will assume overall responsibility for our legal, compliance and insurance affairs for the Group.
Sarah's extensive expertise will be highly valuable in further strengthening the IVC Evidensia leadership team as we navigate the legal, compliance and regulatory landscape of our fast-evolving sector, fulfil our governance and ethical commitments, and support our people in sustainably delivering our purpose of Healthy Animals, Happy Owners for the long-term.
Sarah joins us from her role as Chief Legal Officer for KFC in the UK and Europe, where she oversaw all legal, regulatory, and reputational matters. Prior to KFC, Sarah held various leadership roles at BT Group, including managing the Group’s most complex transformations and transactions, before moving to more consumer-focussed leadership roles, ultimately becoming Chief Counsel (Home & Digital) responsible for BT, EE and PlusNet. Her earlier career includes time working at leading international law firm CMS.
Sarah will join the business on 28 February 2024 and report to Group CFO, Heine Dalsgaard, who said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sarah to the business.
