Our Senior Leadership Team

Simon is responsible for leading the overall strategic direction and growth of IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2022, Simon brings significant experience from his 30-year career in the retail and travel industries, including time as Group CEO at SSP Group PLC and Managing Director at WHSmith Ltd.

Heine oversees the global financial strategy, performance and M&A activities of IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2023, Heine has over 30 years of commercial finance expertise gained from Group CFO roles at Carlsberg A/S, ISS A/S and Grundfos Holding as well as other senior commercial, finance, auditing and banking positions. 

Duncan is responsible for all IVC Evidensia's operations across our international network. 
Joining in 2022, he has more than 20 years of retail experience, including from his time as CEO of Australia's largest community pharmacy group, and in senior roles at retailers Coles, Carphone Warehouse and Dixons Stores Group.

Gudrun leads medical and clinical strategy at IVC Evidensia worldwide, ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare, and is a fully qualified vet. Joining in 2024, she previously served as Group Veterinary Officer at Pets at Home PLC. Gudrun is a non-executive director at the Veterinary Defence Society, a former President of the BVA and a former Director and Chair of VetSustain. 

Jonathan is responsible for driving technology innovation and the development of digital products for IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2023, Jonathan's previous experience includes roles as Chief Technology Officer at Cazoo, MADE.COM, and Huddle, following senior positions at Sabre Holdings, and lastminute.com.

Phil oversees commercial strategy, helping ensure sustainable business growth across IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2022, he spent over 17 years at WHSmith, ultimately as Managing Director of the International business, following time in senior commercial roles at Blueheath and Alldays Stores.

Sarah is responsible for managing legal, compliance, company secretarial and insurance activities across the business. Joining in 2024, Sarah has more than 20 years of legal and commercial experience, gained through time as Chief Legal Officer at KFC, Chief Counsel at BT Group and a senior leader in the Corporate team at the London Office of the law firm CMS.

Terri is responsible for customer experience and marketing, driving customer engagement and growth across IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2024, she has over 30 years of marketing, digital and commercial experience, having previously worked as Customer Director at Dunelm, following senior roles at Reiss, Urban Outfitters, and ASOS.

Rachel leads IVC Evidensia's global people agenda as Group Chief People Officer. Joining in 2026, she brings extensive senior people leadership experience across healthcare, media and consumer sectors, including senior HR roles at the BBC, Camelot, the Crown Prosecution Service, and most recently as Group People Director at Spire Healthcare.

George leads IVC Evidensia's operations across the UK and Ireland as Regional CEO. Joining in 2025, he brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience across health and retail organisations, most recently as Executive Vice President at Nobia. He has previously held senior leadership roles at Planet Organic, Holland & Barrett, Tesco, and Coles in Australia.

Mike oversees IVC Evidensia's operations in France, Portugal and Spain. Joining in 2024, he has more than 20 years' commercial and retail experience, and was previously CEO at Brico Depot, Iberia, Group Commercial Director at Kingfisher plc and held senior roles at Decathlon, notably as Commercial Director for the Solognac brand.

Arjen leads IVC Evidensia's operations in Central Europe (The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland). He was previously Group CEO at Bergman Clinics after leading global businesses (MRi, x-ray) and markets in Philips. After obtaining a PhD in Medicine, his experience of 25 years is in Health Technology, Healthcare services and Consumer Health.  

Jason leads IVC Evidensia's Canadian operations as CEO of VetStrategy. Joining in 2025, he brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across US veterinary and healthcare services. Most recently COO at Community Veterinary Partners, he helped scale the organisation from 75 to over 140 locations across 18 states.

Carl-Magnus leads IVC Evidensia's operations across Northern Europe as Regional CEO, covering Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic and Latvia. Joining in 2025, he brings over 30 years of experience driving transformation and growth across multiple sectors and countries, most recently as Chief Digital and Information Officer at Essity.
