International Graduate Academy Comes To Finland
Our eight International Graduate Academies, that bring together veterinary graduates to help them learn and develop with the help of true industry heavyweights, welcomed this year's cohort of 40 new graduates with an international multilingual launch event.
Welcoming our Spanish and Portuguese graduates for the first time, this year’s kick-off was hosted alongside the UK Graduate Academy, and was presented in multiple languages to include all our international colleagues. After this first session the new graduates were invited to attend our first hybrid event in Helsinki, which was multicast live to three different physical venues where graduates were gathered around the world, as well as online for those unable to attend.
During this two-day event, the graduates were able to attend an Endocrinology course together within the busy schedule. To celebrate the occasion, a social dinner was hosted with students of the Finland Nurse Academy also in attendance with special guests such as IVC Evidensia Finland & Baltics CEO Ilari Kujala, Finland HR Manager Maarika Miettinen and the Finland HRD Manager Laura Kortelainen.
As part of our vision to be the best veterinary group in the world, and in line with our people promise to be a great place to work, we are looking forward to expanding the International Graduate Academy in the future and welcoming more new graduates to the Programme in the upcoming year.
