After graduating at the University of Ghent in Belgium, Sarah spent 4 years at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands to complete a European Residency in Small Animal Medicine.
After a year in a referral private practice combined with her work at the University she joined Novartis Animal Health to provide scientific support for the small animal business in the Benelux. Although she very much enjoyed and learned a lot from the professional approach of this pharmaceutical business, she did start to miss private practice.
And so, after 5 years, she returned to a mixed first opinion and referral practice along with founding her own company, ‘Falcon Vet Consulting’, which provides veterinary scientific support.
Sarah is passionate about evidence-based medicine and education and in her role she provides support to the Academy and the development of research within Evidensia in the Netherlands.
