Vetminds Invest Joins IVC Evidensia
The acquisition will expand IVC Evidensia’s global network of veterinary clinics and hospitals into the Baltic region.
Vetminds has been providing veterinary care services across seven clinics in Estonia and one clinic in Riga, Latvia. Vetminds’ operations have always been based on high-quality services and highly skilled staff.
The acquisition will not result in any personnel changes at Vetminds clinics, as these clinics will continue to be operated by the same, familiar employees. Vetminds’ founders will also continue serving in the company. IVC Evidensia’s Finland Country Manager Jukka Toivanen will also be managing operations in Estonia and Latvia going forward.
“I am very excited about this acquisition bringing together these two great companies. Following the acquisition, we will be able to combine the strengths of our international network and high-quality local know-how. I believe that this acquisition will contribute to the development of the entire sector and thus have a positive impact on the services available to Estonian and Latvian pet owners and the well-being of their pets,” says Country Manager Jukka Toivanen.
“The acquisition by IVC Evidensia will provide the staff of Vetminds with excellent opportunities for international training and diverse career paths. The acquisition will also accelerate the digital transformation and the development of veterinary medicine, while further improving our range of available services and customer experience. Our operations will continue to be driven first and foremost by the well-being of pets,” added Valdeko Paavel, one of the founders of Vetminds Invest.
