International Women's Day

IVC Evidensia marks International Women’s Day with a celebration of inspirational women across the Group.
Throughout February, our people nominated women they work with who are making a positive impact on their colleagues, animal patients and owners, and who are driving progress and success wherever they work.
Having received hundreds of nominations from across the global business, Lisa King, Group HR Director, said: “We wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate the huge contribution women make to their teams, pet patients and clients on International Women’s Day. We have been both overwhelmed and humbled by the response of our internal campaign to celebrate women across IVC Evidensia for their significant contributions. Without our incredible people, we would not be able to deliver the excellent care we provide to our animal patients. My sincere thanks go to all of them, both men and women, for their incredible hard work and commitment, enabling us to provide world-class veterinary care for millions of animals every year and deliver our purpose of Healthy Animals, Happy Owners.”
Hundreds of inspirational and uplifting stories of leadership, compassion and friendship were received as a result of the campaign, some of which will be shared on IVC Evidensia Group’s Social Channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram, throughout March.
As a result of the nominations, IVC Evidensia will be making donations to three incredible charities which all do important work to promote opportunities for women - The Malala Fund, The Global Girl Project and Womankind Worldwide.
