Our Senior Leadership Team

Simon is responsible for leading the overall strategic direction and growth of IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2021, Simon brings significant experience from his 30-year career in the retail and travel industries, including time as Group CEO at SSP Group PLC and Managing Director at WHSmith Ltd.

Heine oversees the global financial strategy, performance and M&A activities of IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2022, Heine has over 30 years of commercial finance expertise gained from Group CFO roles at Carlsberg A/S, ISS A/S and Grundfos Holding as well as other senior commercial, finance, auditing and banking positions. 

Ella is responsible for shaping the people strategy and ambition to be a great place to work across the business. Joining in 2024 from easyJet PLC, where she was Group People Director, Ella's extensive experience also includes time in senior HR roles at Sainsbury's-Argos, Home Retail Group PLC, and before that in the IT industry. 

Gudrun leads medical and clinical strategy at IVC Evidensia worldwide, ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare, and is a fully qualified vet. Joining in 2024, she previously served as Group Veterinary Officer at Pets at Home PLC. Gudrun is a former non-executive director at the Veterinary Defence Society, a former President of the BVA and a Director and former Chair of VetSustain.

Jonathan is responsible for driving technology innovation and the development of digital products for IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2023, Jonathan's previous experience includes roles as Chief Technology Officer at Cazoo, MADE.COM, and Huddle, following senior positions at Sabre Holdings, and lastminute.com.

Phil oversees commercial strategy, helping ensure sustainable business growth across IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2022, he spent over 17 years at WHSmith, ultimately as Managing Director of the International business, following time in senior commercial roles at Blueheath and Alldays Stores.

Sarah is responsible for managing legal, compliance, company secretarial and insurance activities across the business. Joining in 2024, Sarah has more than 20 years of legal and commercial experience, gained through time as Chief Legal Officer at KFC, Chief Counsel at BT Group and a senior leader in the Corporate team at the London Office of the law firm CMS.

Terri is responsible for customer experience and marketing, driving customer engagement and growth across IVC Evidensia. Joining in 2024, she has over 30 years of marketing, digital and commercial experience, having previously worked as Customer Director at Dunelm, following senior roles at Reiss, Urban Outfitters, and ASOS.

David leads IVC Evidensia's operations in Canada, under the VetStrategy brand. Joining in 2023, he was previously President and CEO of CareRx Corporation, following senior roles at Cardinal Health and Stryker Corporation, and has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience.

Duncan is responsible for IVC Evidensia's operations across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Joining in 2022, he has more than 20 years of retail experience, including from his time as CEO of Australia's largest community pharmacy group, and in senior roles at retailers Coles, Carphone Warehouse and Dixons Stores Group.

Johanna leads IVC Evidensia's operations across Northern Europe, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. Joining in 2024, Johanna previously served as President of Humana AB, and has over a decade of experience in healthcare.

Mike oversees IVC Evidensia's operations in France, Portugal and Spain. Joining in 2024, he has more than 20 years' commercial and retail experience, and was previously CEO at Brico Depot, Iberia, Group Commercial Director at Kingfisher plc and held senior roles at Decathlon, notably as Commercial Director for the Solognac brand.

Urs is responsible for leading IVC Evidensia's operations across Austria, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, and Switzerland. Joining in 2023, he brings nearly 30 years of experience in the customer and retail sectors, having held senior roles at Grandvision, Royal Dutch Shell, Starbucks, and McDonald's.
