About me

Robert qualified from the Free  University of Berlin in 2004. After another four years of work in the small animal clinic at the Free University of Berlin with a special interest in cardiovascular medicine, he completed a residency in cardiology at the small animal clinics of the Vetsuisse Faculty in Bern and Zurich. During this time he also did his doctorate there.

After working in the cardiology department of the small animal clinic at the University of Gießen, he returned to his hometown Berlin and co-founded the transfer practice KLEINTIERSPEZIALISTEN 2012. This practice joined IVC-Evidensia in 2017 and has developed into the largest veterinary clinic in Berlin to this day. Beside his clinical work Robert is dedicated in the DACH cardiology interest group.

Robert is vice chair of the DACH Clinical Advisory Board since 2018. He represents  Switzerland and Germany on the Group Veterinary Medical Board, where ideas and initiatives are shared amongst European Colleagues.
